Analysis of Three Magazine Adverts Relating To My Genre

Above you can see a magazine advertising Lily Allen, as her music is of the same genre of Kate Nash I wanted to look at how her and her music is advertised. What I mostly like in this advertisement is the use of picture of her, as its very natural and elegant. The colours used are very pale and graceful, the light pink/peach background makes the audience more on Lily Allen as she is dressed in black. The fonts used are very clear to read, which is another factor which will draw us into reading more. I think this is very inspirational as it relates to my genre, the image used is very elegant which is what I might want to include in my own magazine advert.

The image used in this advert is very simple which is what makes it stand out. It includes some of her achievements for example having a UK number one album, the font is very clear and allows us to read it all, the advertising also includes all of the conventional information like the recording label. It’s good that they have blurred out the background as it makes us focus more on the artist. I like the image itself as its very simple but yet is very captivating. I believe that her songs relate to my genre and this is why I have chose to analyze her music. I believe that her music relates teenagers and young adults which is again similar to our artist

This is a magazine advertising featuring Adele, I have chose to analyse this particular artist as her music is of the same genre of Kate Nash. There aren’t many different colours used in this advert which is good because it makes it look more simple and interspersing, the blue is very complimenting to the image of Adele and this makes her stand out more. I really like the picture which has been used as its very simple and natural. There is a number of different fonts used on the cover but they are all understandable and easy to read. I think that is magazine advert is very good, and I will definitely take in some of the ideas in my own advert, like the choice of image.
