Planning Digipak

Today we was looking at previous student's work and i was inspired by this effect that someone had used, which made the digipak and advertisement look scrunched up. I think that i may want to take this effect and use it in on my own digipak as i believe it will go with the image of the artist and her genre.

I have searched on youtube how exactly this could be done on photishop, and it looks pretty straight forward.
